We at Emporion see it as our mission to create great digital experiences. For our international customers and partners we develop products/services where the user is the focus of our approach.
As the world around us changes, the challenges that our customers demand from us become more fundamental, strategic and important than ever to the success of their businesses.
The role of design in this process is evolving; a solution that excites and appeals to the user often means being prepared for compromises to ensure the right product gets to market.
As a product designer, you are involved in all phases of the product development process, from brainstorming to business challenges and concepts to iterative fidelity of the user interface and its implementation. You use your full range of design skills to push the limits of what is possible.
You can expect to work with an intelligent and caring cross-discipline team that delivers quickly and integrates the client very strongly into their development.
What your tasks are
Explore and communicate design concepts for digital products through artifacts such as sketches, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
Validation of design concepts through user feedback, measurement of usability, consideration of market analysis and a balance of technical constraints/opportunities.
Using prototyping tools to communicate the functionality of concepts.
You create designs, prototypes, and handover mockups using industry-standard tools.
Engage customers, stakeholders, and your team to ensure that your proposed design meets business objectives and technical constraints in addition to user requirements.
Understand business requirements to understand and meet user needs.
Moderation and participation in workshops (Design Thinking / Google Design Sprints)
Participation in design, user and validation tests.
Work within a client’s brand and respect it, but also adapt it to current digital standards and develop it further.
You will work within the client’s brand specifications but will adapt them to digital standards and requirements as required.
You are a design generalist. You may be specialized in a particular design direction, but you have broad skills in typography, layout and information architecture. You have a functional understanding of lean design processes and iterative prototyping with common design software.
You have a good understanding of user-centric design, testing, usability research, and ideally have developed your own techniques and methods.
High willingness to cooperate. Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams of designers, developers and product managers according to the principles of Lean.
You think about the whole when designing a product. You are detail-oriented and can adhere to deadlines.
You are open to discussing abstract ideas and strongly solution-oriented. You can brainstorm without talking about ideas immediately.
If necessary, you can propose alternative approaches based on research results and cope well with the uncertainty of rapid product development.
You want to grow and are always looking for opportunities to learn.
You can stay calm and concentrated even under pressure and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
You are adaptable and can work under uncertainty. You can quickly alternate between different industries and requirements.
